Baños de Agua Santa is the only town in Ecuador where you can enjoy a plethora of adventure sports such as white water rafting, kayaking, canyoning, rock climbing, bungee jumping, horseback riding, trekking, mountain biking, mountaineering, camping, paragliding and much, much more.

Baños de Agua Santa boasts 5 municipal Spas with mineral and sulphurous waters ranging in temperature form 18 to 55°C. The waters all come from the Tungurahua volcano, flowing from its depths and streaming from snow melt.

There’s plenty of nightlife on offer in Baños - with over 30 clubs, bars, discos and other party venues tourists can have great fun in a safe environment. In this cosmopolitan town, you can choose from over 80 restaurants where staff delight in satisfying the most demanding palate with an infinite variety of national and international dishes.

Nature abounds in the huge variety of flora and fauna - birds, animals and plants that can only be found here, in the Llanganates and Sangay National Parks. Thanks to these unique species, the World Wildlife Fund awarded this ecological corridor “Gift to the Earth status” in 2003.
